Aren't socks difficult?

Let's get you making confidently

No, not once you've been shown how! Although it may sound counterintuitive, I am going to do this by teaching you what is traditionally thought to be the hardest method of making socks - top down with a traditional heel flap. My rationale for this? Firstly, it isn't difficult, you just need to be shown step by step what to do, and of course I will do that in this course. Secondly, once you have mastered this you will have the skills and confidence to make any style of sock. We'll end the class with a bonus pattern to prove this to you! I've taught hundreds of people, online and in person, how to make socks and will get you confidently making them with this course.

FAQ

  • Are the classes live? What happens if I can't make the time?

No, the classes are video on demand and so can be watched at anytime.

  • I'm a sock knitter, will learn much from the course?

Yes! Because crochet creates a different fabric to knitting then there are lots of differences in how we work to get comfortable socks. Crochet socks are much quicker than knitted so it's a great skill to learn

  • Is this a crochet-a-long?

Yes, it can be. We use a selection of three sock patterns to take you through the skills so you are bound to be working on the same as someone else. Hub members can connect with others in the Hub forum.

  • What happens after I buy the class?

If you aren't already signed up to the Thinkific platform, after purchasing the class you will receive an email from the address [email protected] entitled "Welcome to learning with The Crochet Project" with the login information you need. You can access the class from your dashboard at http://learn.thecrochetproject.com

  • Whats the difference between purchasing it out right or joining the hub to get the class?

You can buy this class outright and it is yours to keep forever. If you are a member of the Hub you will get the class included in your subscription price and will have access to the class for as long as you are a member.
